In this English-language bonus episode of Bogen Lever!, we talk with artist, curator and educator Phil Scott about making art, teaching art and communicating art to different audiences. The conversation moves through collage, storytelling and curation, and touches on how exhibitions, books and art experiences can be shaped for both children and adults. We also talk about the symposium in Oslo in January and the book created in connection with it — including the ideas, process and choices behind its form. Phil Scott is a British artist and educator based in Billund, Denmark. Working primarily with collage and found photographic material, he creates new meanings through image, context and juxtaposition. He has exhibited widely in Denmark and the UK, and previously worked in London as an influential art educator, teaching contemporary art practice and theory to young people.
